Practical guides & answers

Questions to ask before enrolling in AAPP.

Before authorizing an enrollment, take time to understand the benefits, recurring charges, and how to get help. Keep the confirmation so you can compare what was offered with the written terms.

What am I buying?

Ask for the complete program name and the benefits included in that exact offer. Confirm whether related programs are optional and separately billed. A benefit shown on a company website is not necessarily included in every enrollment.

For roadside assistance, review eligible drivers and vehicles, activation, territory, service events, towing limits, and excluded expenses. For repair savings, understand that the benefit is a participating-provider discount, not insurance or a promise to reimburse repairs.

What will be charged and when?

Ask for the initial charge, first recurring charge date, recurring amount, frequency, and any trial or review period for each program. Telephone promotions and the online AAPP offer can differ. Review the current authorization where you enroll rather than combining prices from different offers.

How do I cancel or ask about a refund?

Locate the support contact and cancellation instructions before enrolling. If there are separate programs, identify each one you want canceled and request confirmation. Ask support about the refund terms that apply to your transaction; cancellation and a refund are separate requests.

What does a promotional voucher require?

A voucher is a separate mail-in rebate offer. Check the printed amount, monthly submission schedule, qualifying receipts, postage, and other conditions. It is not an immediate payment or prepaid card. Review the full explanation and your issued documents.

What should I keep?

Save the offer, confirmation, benefit instructions, and any correspondence. If something differs from what you understood, contact support with those details. Do not send full payment-card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information by general email.

Have a question about your account?

Your enrollment documents identify the benefits, eligibility, limits, and service instructions that apply to you.
